Sauer on “Nonprofit Voices” BlogTalk Radio
Albany, NY – December 9, 2008 – Doug Sauer, CEO of the Council of Community Services of NYS, Inc. (CCSNYS) will host the first ever radio show of its kind for nonprofits December 19th from 10:00am - 11:00am.
Times are tough. Money is tight. Tough decisions are being made about programs, services, staffing and resources for next year and beyond. CCSNYS knows you have something to say and we want to know how you feel about what’s going on and how it might affect the services you deliver to the community.
Nonprofits Sound Off with Doug Sauer. Sauer has provided leadership at CCSNYS for over 25 years. He is highly experienced and skilled in providing technical assistance and training, including curriculum development, to nonprofits in such areas as governance, executive leadership, strategic planning, strategic alliances and mergers, organizational renewal, program development, human resource, financial and risk management. He is also an experienced community organizer and health and human service planner. He is currently Board Chair of the National Council of Nonprofits, President of the Board of Directors of Council Services Plus (a for-profit insurance brokerage subsidiary of CCSNYS) and serves on the board of the National Association of Planning Councils (NAPC), where he previously served as President and Treasurer.
